Let me start with a disclaimer: I am not a financial advisor and this is not investment or tax advice. This is a list of tools and information to share with my friends and family. Please invest responsibly, do your homework, and never invest more than you can afford to lose.

About 6 weeks ago, I shared some of my favorite crypto-tools and resources. (Click here to read Part 1)

Here is a list of a few I forgot to share or have recently discovered.

Buy and Sell

Robinhood now offers crypto buying and selling. Currently, there is a waiting list and they only support Bitcoin and Ethereum. They do offer market data for other currencies and have plans to add additional buy and sell options.

The service is currently only available through phone apps but trades are free and they support bank transfers in USD. One nice thing about Robinhood is you can also purchase traditional stocks in the same account.

Haejin Lee – This YouTube channel offers detailed technical analysis for many coins and tokens.

bitgur – This site has the best visual tools. The heat maps are awesome and quickly give you a sense of the market.

Blockfolio – This app allows me to track my portfolio without having to have the exchange apps on my phone. I do have to add my trades in manually, but this adds a layer of security since it is not connected to my actual accounts.

Deletion: I stopped following Fat Pig Signals as I just don’t find it useful any longer and the comments got annoying.

For my 2017 tax preparation, I tried using both the sites below and even tried the paid version at CoinTracking.info. However, I found neither accurately imported my trades and it took a lot of work to find the problems. So, I just used the reports from the exchanges and submitted to my accountant in a spreadsheet. Maybe I will try them again next year and see if I have more patience.
